For Students:

Embedded in this model are guiding questions intended to help students work through the research process by thinking about what they are doing and making thoughtful and deliberate choices about what to do next (metacognitive thought).

For Teachers:

Along with curriculum connections and a grade by grade continuum of underlying research skills are tips and tools for planning instruction, monitoring student progress, and managing the research process in the classroom.
